Lenovo buys IBM's PC unit

Lenovo, China's largest computer supplier, announced a deal to buy the PC unit of IBM yesterday(Dec 8, 04') and warned Dell Computer and Hewlett-Packard, the world market leaders, that it would not be satisfied with its new position as the third biggest PC supplier.(Financial Times, UK)
